Chelsea has rapidly grown within Amazon from an HR Recruiter to Amazon’s EMEA Head of University, Apprenticeship and Military Veteran Recruitment across five years. Her scope includes strategic planning of over 5,000 annual hires, from sourcing and attraction, through to ongoing development via internal programs to “hire ahead” future talent gaps. She is an active member of the Future Talent Council, CIPD Mentor and RL100, speaking to Amazon’s ability to continue to grow at scale and mitigate future talent gaps through early talent pipelines. Her passion is diversity, as an advocate for veterans transitioning to the workplace, alongside inclusive hiring processes for PWD and LGBTQIA+ talent across EMEA and beyond.
Alex Brown has over 12 years of experience managing talent acquisition advertising, recruitment marketing, employer branding, and social recruiting efforts. Today, he is Global Talent Marketing Manager for Booking.com, contributing to the resurgence of the global travel industry in 2022 and beyond. His scope includes all strategic efforts around talent attraction, advertising, media, global employer branding, strategic partnerships, and more. His passions include cooking, LGBTQIA+ Advocacy, the outdoors, electronic music, sustainability, and his adopted cat, BeBe the tabby.
Lucas Martínez is the co-founder and co-CEO of Talent.com, a job search platform that aims to connect the world to work. Before founding Talent.com, Martínez worked as an ERP consultant as well as in Software Sales in North America, Europe, APAC and the Middle East. During his graduate studies in Geneva, he met his fellow co-founder Maxime Droux, who was already friends with their third partner, Benjamin Philion. Martínez then moved to Montreal in 2011 to start the company with his partners and spent the next ten years growing the business from a small start-up to the global $150M enterprise it is today. Martínez now lives in Barcelona with his wife and three children.
Kristin Shulman is a dedicated Digital and Talent Marketing Strategist with over 18 years of unique experience. Kristin has built her career developing innovative and digitally driven solutions to create unique and impactful talent experiences. Kristin currently is the Global Head of Recruitment Marketing for Booking.com, where she is focused on attracting and retaining the best tech talent in the marketplace. She is also a #workingmom with a passion for traveling and has been fortunate enough to live the expat life for the last 8 years; spending time in the UK, Ireland and The Netherlands.
Since his first job at a small tech start-up, Stephen has gained experience across Africa, primarily in building marketplace businesses. Currently, as the VP of Community at OfferZen, his main focus is on continuously making an increased impact on the global software community. He spends a lot of time thinking and reading about the rising role and responsibility of software engineering in our society, and how we can organise ourselves to build a better future.
Oana is a Senior Talent Acquisition Leader with over 10 years experience in Talent Acquisition, Diversity & Inclusion and Talent Management. She has built her portfolio partnering with leaders across companies such as Facebook (Dublin), Booking.com (Amsterdam), Criteo (Paris). Currently building global teams and nurturing inclusive workforces in Berlin for one of the largest ecommerce companies in the world Wayfair, as an Associate Director TA - Europe&Asia;, she recently also launched the www.weinclude.eu podcast - highlighting european businesses for good in the DEI space.
Lisa studied International Management at the University of Flensburg and University Yogyakarta in Indonesia as well as HR Management at the University of Hamburg. Before founding Localyze, she gained her practical experiences at a gaming company, where she was responsible for the relocation and onboarding of international employees. Lisa understands the needs of HR teams and their international employees and has an extensive network in HR that she brings to Localyze, being responsible for revenue and all customer relations.
Willem works at Ashby, the next-gen, all-in-one Hiring Platform everyone is talking about. With 15 years of TA (leadership) experience under his belt, he has now set out to build hiring tooling that enables the era of "Hiring Excellence". Firm believer that Recruitment should be a function to break away from HR/People and get its own seat at the table. Ex VanMoof & Improbable.
